| Walking Around the World

As a young man, Andres Siess circumnavigated the globe. He started in Italy when he was 23 years old, and has since crossed 24 countries and travelled more than 38,000 km by foot! An incredible achievement. And a slow, but also highly economical, way to travel.

Andrew seems as though he was born to travel. At the age of 19, he cycled from the north of the USA to the southernmost tip of the Americas. Later he canoed down the Mississippi and sailed across the Atlantic, though he had to be rescued when a whale rammed his sailboat.

His last adventure began with a bet. "A friend bet me a crate of beer that I wouldn't make it. So I did it. "
